| Army, developer sign Aberdeen lease
The Army and a Minnesota-based developer have signed a 50-year lease for about 400 acres at Aberdeen Proving Ground, a project that will bring office space for up to 10,000 civilian defense contractor workers at the expanding base. Opus East LLC, the Rockville subsidiary of the company, plans to break ground at the end of the month on the first building in a business and technology park that will be located inside the 73,000-acre base in Harford County, Army officials said. "This is a good thing for various reasons," said George Mercer, an APG spokesman. "It brings in uses that are compatible with Army operations and brings activities and businesses closer to where the Army works. Part of the selling point for the developer is the extra security provided and the proximity." .

My major annoyance with other soccer games is you can punt the ball forward, but there never seems anyone to be in place. Even with complex team and individual placement organisation appearing in the very latest games, I always felt my team wasn't up to the task of getting in position when plays were made. I used to think it could be because I tend to pick lower ranked teams (go Villa!), but even when picking Brazil or Arsenal team AI seemed to be lacking. In PES, players actually take runs to get into position, they run on the ball, and the game never seems to lag behind the play of the ball. I can't pinpoint for sure if it's the fact that passes to teammates are tighter, or if their on field positioning is better, or even if the controls are more precise, but I've found myself much more able to do exactly what I want my team to do.
Although space abounds, downtown office rents still high
Manekin, a broker with Staubach. "Traditionally, landlords have lowered their rent to increase occupancy, and I don't see this time being any different." For the fourth quarter of 2007, downtown rents increased about 14 cents, up about $1.33 from this time last year, according to Lutherville brokerage MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services LLC. Top tier, Class-A+ office space reached $27.14 per square foot, which is down about 12 cents from last year but up $1.31 from the same period last year. .
Fearless Predictions: WAC
Brennan will pick apart U-Dub, playing catch with a deep receiving corps that features four players with at least 50 grabs. Do not sleep on an underrated Warrior D that leads the WAC in sacks, tackles for loss, and pass efficiency defense. Who to watch: Sure, Hawaii is all about the passing game, but the defense has done its part in the perfect start. Despite popular opinion, the Warriors are not a finesse group, featuring a powerful front seven that can control the line of scrimmage, and live in opposing backfields. Leading the way are all-star linebackers Adam Leonard and Solomon Elimimian, the team's leading tacklers. Leonard, in particular, is a complete linebacker, who can press up to stop the run or drop into coverage equally well. What will happen: Aloha Stadium is sold out.

Ideology has no party affiliation. And PLEASE don't speak for the rest of us liberals who believe that conservative-bashing is a weak and ineffectual way to make a point. Sign me, "Sick of the Political Games — and the Food Fight too" Hoosier Prof, at 1:56 pm EST on January 22, 2007 .
Gulfstream Park owner's passion for horses has turned into a losing ...
The Horse Wizard was a hybrid of a slot machine and a live race telecast, in which images of horses instead of cherries spun on the screen. Win, and listen to the sound effects of coins dropping. It was Frank Stronach's pet project. To the founder of Magna Entertainment Corp., the Horse Wizard took the thinking out of betting, while offering the excitement and instant gratification of casino gambling to a new generation of patrons. But if Stronach, the owner of Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, expected others around him to embrace his enthusiasm, he didn't hear it. "I remember sitting there, and he had some test ones, and I tried them and said, 'This is really bad, Frank,'" recalled Gino Roncelli, a former Magna director. .
Residents' days are numbered
When he heard about the new law, hardware store owner Vincent Ayd wasted no time calling in his order. If the Baltimore County Council wants to require some residents to display their address on the back of their properties, he is happy to sell the metal and plastic house numbers. "I'm putting them right at the front," the store owner said at Ayd Hardware in Towson. "I'm going to call them alley numbers." .
